The Community Presbyterian Christmas Food Drive has been a part of our heritage for as
long as anyone can remember. Our Scouts and volunteers collect masses of food and distribute them to the community, for did not God give His Son to those who hungered?
We take very seriously indeed Christ’s admonition that inasmuch as you have done this to the least of these, you have done it to me. How can one hear the voice of God over the pangs of his stomach? How can the abandoned, the lonely, the aged, the sick be part of the community if they are not invited? And so, each Christmas, the people of Bellefonte and surrounding areas share their plenty with those who have little, and we are honored to pick it up and distribute it.
